Candace grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and went to school at Kent State University where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting. She then earned her CPA license and has worked in a variety of different accounting and tax positions throughout her career. She spent three years in Atlanta, GA before moving to the greater Detroit, MI area in 1999 and has considered Michigan home ever since. Now that her two sons are grown, Candace has more free time to enjoy many different hobbies, including hiking, mountain biking and sailing. She has done several backpacking trips, including the Grand Canyon and a 10-day backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail. Always looking for a new challenge, she accepted her role as the first employee of ICONX Chemicals with no idea what to expect and has enjoyed the challenge and the ride ever since!
